Von der Sonne geküsst ~ Bohemian Hochzeitsinspirationsshoot mit magischem Licht und traumhaften Kimonos ~ Arina B. Photography

Ab und an stolpern wir hier ja über Bilder, die einem das Herz ein bisschen höher schlagen lassen als bei anderen Hochzeitsinspirationen. Hier war es bei mir mal wieder soweit – während Anna-Maria euch ja in den vergangenen Wochen mit grandiosen Kleidern à la Vera Wang versorgt hat, habe ich hier einen kleinen Inspirations-Schatz gefunden für alle mit einem Vintage /Boho/Rosa-Gold – Herz: Dieses Inspirationsshooting bündelt eine geballte Ladung Farbkompetenz, gute Ideen (Kimonos als Bautlook? Come on!) und einem Licht, das einfach zum Fotografieren gemacht wurde. Geschaffen haben das ganze Rare Sophisticate in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fotografin Arina B. Photography (schaut euch die Facebookseite an!)

Als ich dann auch noch lesen durfte, dass Raihni von Rare Sophistocate als musikalische Inspirationsquelle zwei meiner absoluten Lieblingskünstlerinnen, nämlich Sade und Jessie Ware (Ich liebe Jessie Ware! Mein Soundtrack des Sommers 2012 in Zürich! Wildest Moments ist eines meiner Lieblingsmusikvideos aller Zeiten!) war ich hin und weg.

The soundtrack in my head as I curated the shoot consisted of timeless music by Sade and Jessie Ware; Sade lyrics were used on the invitation and Jessie Ware’s album Devotion was the inspiration behind the floral lettering of „Sweet Devotion.“ Appropriate music that gets the creativity flowing is always a necessity when I am working on a any event. Song lyrics are also one of my favorite ways to incorporate a personalized touch to decorative elements. Arina is the incredibly talented and down to earth Photographer I was so lucky to have found on Instagram to capture this shoot the way I envisioned it to a tee. – Rare Sophisticate

Mein Highlight des Shoots sind natürlich, neben den Blumenarrangements, die Kimonos von Salt Water Gypsy – ich finde es erstaunlich, wie gut sie sich als Brautlook machen und wie toll sie sich zu einem romantischen Brautjungfern Look umwandeln lassen. Auch das Outfit des Herren lässt im Zusammenspiel mit den Kimonos für mich nichts zu wünschen übrig.

When I started piecing together ideas for this shoot the goal was to create an effortless look with a Bohemian, Romantic and Elegant feel. Lighting was a huge factor when I designed the color palette in search of shades that would reflect warm, plush tones that danced together in the late afternoon sunlight. Mixed metallic tones of Rose Gold, Gold, Champagne and Copper worked beautifully to accent the Ivory and Blush combination used for the floral arrangements. (…) Salt Water Gypsy is an online store with handmade kimonos that I knew would make the perfect Bridal look. We highlighted the intricate detail of the beautiful kimonos by keeping the dresses soft and understated. Christopher Jay Heller of Rawhyde Mfg Co. creates the most one-of-a-kind custom bow ties, ties, suspenders, pocket squares and more. Naturally, I enlisted his help to create a unique look for the Groom. The custom bow tie incorporated micro suede and a deep currant fabric which he finished off nicely with the Rawhyde emblem. The micro suede suspenders were the perfect compliment to the bow tie and Bridal look. Laura of Cake Bakeshop in Manhattan Beach created three perfectly polished mini cakes that we topped with blush garden roses, coffee bean plant, spray roses and seeded eucalyptus to add just the right touch to the „Bubbly & Cake“ dessert table. – Rare Sophisticate
